LGA KICK OFF - Winter Golf Is for the Birds! Our 2025 Season 9 Hole Kick Off event came off without a hitch! We had a record turnout of ladies, and the weather was most enjoyable, almost spring like. We played all three 9 hole courses of Members Club and prizes were awarded to the 5 teams with the best scores on all 3 courses. Closest to the pin prizes were awarded, and two of our members, Jungmi Wolosz and Nancy John won twice! We also had several ladies win the Chip In Contest, our LGA Treasurer Becky Amo had two, as did Nancy John. Nice job ladies! Of special note, Susan Bosworth chipped in on #15 for an Eagle and Kathy Michaelson Eagled #3 of the Cate....Congrats to you both!

O' CHRISTMAS TEE was the LGA's holiday party theme this year! And while we celebrate the holidays this time of year, we also celebrate and recognize our wonderful Board members who make the LGA an organization that over 200 St. James women want to be a part of! Kelly Maguire, our 2024 President handed the gavel over to Connie Kelly, our new 2025 President and a round of applause was had for all the new 2025 Board members; Kim Alleman, Vice President; Becky Amo, Treasurer; Sara Harrison, Secretary and Kelly Maguire, Ex-Officio. And a special thanks to ALL the wonderful LGA Volunteers who make this great organization run so smoothly. Cole Grammen, our Tournament Coordinator was acknowledged and thanked for his hard work! Congratulations to all the Ringer winners as well; over $2,000 awarded! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All!

"Little Pink Houses of Hope!" The LGA & Niner ladies had a terrific day of golf at Members Club! Yes, there were winners at -7, congrats Susan Lamar, Jenny Zentmayer, Joan Rinaldi and Tina Kreiner but more importantly, we were 180 strong to support the cause! LPHOH empowers breast cancer patients and families to live each day to the fullest, with direction, purpose and hope for the cancer journey. $40,000 was raised today thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers & golfers, along with the committed support from Kent Silhanek and Troon! Thank you all!

"Hats Off to 30 Years of LGA!" Although rain cancelled play, all players met back up at Members Club to celebrate 30 years of ladies, organized play at SJP and for a yummy "make your own salad" and sliders luncheon. Dessert was a festive cupcake adorned with a "30" topper! Troon made the event extra special by giving each LGA player a 30th anniversary commemorative ball marker. Thank you, Troon!
